Ship's Vintage Copper All-Round Navigation Light with Bails
This is a salvaged ship light that was manufactured by Nippon Sento of Japan. They were one of the worlds high end nautical brass light makers. Tug boats used an arrangement of these to indicate the length of the tow line. It weighs approximately 7 1/2 lbs, stands 9" tall and 9" wide at the base. A new normal light socket has been installed and is ready to be easily wired from the side or bottom of the light. The top of the light comes off by loosening the three nuts on the top to change the bulb. This light looks really cool hanging by a top and bottom rope or chain as shown in picture two.
